The high-level event will highlight the importance of COP-to-COP collaboration to ensure that agriculture is properly addressed in international negotiations and that adequate climate finance contributions are made available to support the sustainable transformation of agrifood systems. Additionally, the event will underline how the FAST Partnership connects to the Baku Harmoniya Climate Initiative for Farmers and how the synergies between both initiatives will foster greater coherence and clarity on the landscape of existing initiatives, accelerating climate finance contributions in agrifood systems while empowering smallholder farmers, women, youth, Indigenous Peoples and other groups.
