Project Name: “Máxima”

Young rural women of Peru face challenges to access land and governance. In spite of this and in the face of climate change and extractivist economic behaviour, young women are leading the conservation of ecosystems and the defense of the territory from an ecofeminist perspective. Dámaris, therefore, developed an activist research project aiming to strengthen the ecofeminist leadership of Peru’s young rural women. The project consits of in-depth research and the organization of workshops.
