The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens, the Austrian Cultural Forum New York and the Ban Ki-moon Foundation are co-hosting the high-level event “Inspiring female leadership for the Global Goals” at the margins of the High-Level Political Forum for Sustainable Development 2023.
The high-level panel discussion brings together high-level women leaders from government, the private sector, philanthropy, and academia to share their insights on the role and contribution of women to the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) amidst present global challenges.
Moderated by Monika Froehler, CEO of the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens, the leading question for the discussion will be: “What do you see as your contribution to the Global Goals as a female leader, especially within your distinct field of work?”
The guest of honor for the evening is H.E. Karoline Edtstadler, Austrian Federal Minister for the EU and Constitution, who will present the latest developments on the implementation of the SDGs in and by Austria with leading partners and launch the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens’ (BKMC) publication on Austria’s Commitment to the 2030 Agenda.
